Sandlot Baseball 2008

Due to the planned construction at Bennett this summer, Sand Lot Baseball will take place at the fields behind Groveland Elementary School, which is a few blocks north of Bennett, just east of the intersection of 101 and Minnetonka Blvd. (17310 Minnetonka Blvd. 55345) (see maps)

ETLL Sand Lot Baseball is open to all players that played CP6, CP7, 8A, 9AA, 10AAA, NL and AL in 2008. You do not need to register for Sand Lot.  Just show up when you can and play. Groveland can support up to three games so we will divide the players by age, make teams and play. We will do our best to have friends play together.

Bases, balls and a limited amount of equipment will be available. Players should bring their own gloves and helmets, (and bat if they like).  All your equipment needs to be well marked with your name and phone number.  (Sorry, there is no lost and found.) 

This is not a 'drop-off-league', if you bring someone to play you are there to stay 

...bring a book... We will need coaches so please help.  (Remember this is sand lot, 

not the regular season, so the coaches just facilitate the games and let the kids have fun.)

  Parking:  There is plenty of parking off Minnetonka Blvd behind the school gymnasium 

or even more parking off Groveland Park Rd. on the west side of the school.
